Frequently Asked Questions

The Official London Theatre Sale is now over for this year!

I have a problem with my booking. Who do I contact?

Please contact ticketing@officiallondontheatre.com, and include your name and booking reference number.

Can I exchange my tickets?

If you would like to exchange your tickets, please complete this change to booking request form. An exchange request is not a guarantee and may be refused, at the discretion of the theatre that you have booked for.

Exchange and refund policies may vary theatre to theatre, and we can only offer you an exchange or refund if the theatre grants one.

Tickets will only be refunded if your performance has been cancelled.

What is The Official London Theatre Sale?

Our Sale offers tickets for top London shows for performances from until 31 March. Previously named the New Year Sale and Get Into London Theatre, the Sale is now in its 20th year and has firmly established its place on the London theatre calendar, getting bigger and better every year!

When does the promotion go on sale?

General booking opened at 10am on Tuesday 6 December, and the Sale ended on Friday 10 February.

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets cost £10, £20, £30, £40 or £50, depending on the show, and there are no booking fees to pay. Not every show offers tickets at every price point, or for every performance.

What performances are tickets valid for?

The Sale usually encompasses selected performances throughout January and February, subject to availability. For the last couple of years, we have extended into March due to popular demand!

How do I book?

Tickets can only be booked online via OfficialLondonTheatre.com/sale/, or at the TKTS booth in Leicester Square. If you’re booking during the Mastercard Priority period, tickets must be booked through priceless.com. Official London Theatre Sale tickets cannot be booked at theatre box offices.

How do I make an Access booking?

Throughout the Sale, if you have access needs the most direct way of booking tickets is directly with the theatre as they know the venue best and can give you the best experience. The list of phone numbers and email addresses can all be found here.

Can I pay with Theatre Tokens?

Yes!

How will I get my ticket?

Your Sale ticket will come as an e-ticket and will be emailed to you before the show. As long as you have received a confirmation email from your booking, don’t panic! Tickets may be emailed at different times and may not arrive until the day before your show. Make sure you’ve checked your spam folder if you’re having trouble locating your tickets.

Additional Information

  • Customers can book for multiple shows but we reserve the right to investigate any suspicious bookings. Bookings can contain no more than 10 tickets per performance.
  • The offer does not apply to tickets already booked and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  • Tickets are subject to availability for specific performances only and not all shows offer tickets at all price points.
  • The list of participating shows will change throughout the promotion as some shows sell out and new shows join.
  • Some shows do sell out quickly, so we recommend having a few shows in mind before you book, and to be flexible with your dates where possible.
