Olivier Awards Green Carpet Viewing Area

Green carpet information

  • Wristbands will be issued from 11am on Sunday 14 April 2024 by security on a first come first serve basis.
  • Wristbands will be issued from red entrance on Prince Consort Road, SW7 2BA the Wristband collection point on Prince Consort Road.

  • There will be no access to the public viewing area without a wristband.
  • Wristbands will be placed on the spectator’s wrist immediately and will not be transferable. The viewing pens will start to be occupied at approximately 14:30 on Sunday 14 April 2024.
  • Should the wristband become lost or damaged, there will be no automatic right of re-admission during the event.
  • There will be bag searches of all public in the viewing areas in operation.
  • Olivier Awards security will give instructions on the day to help guide the public safely into the viewing areas. Security will be dressed in high visibility jackets and will therefore be easy to identify.
  • Any member public who are found to be blocking public footpaths or restricting public or vehicle access in any way will be asked to move on.
  • Tents will not be permitted as they restrict access along the public footpath.
  • At the end of the event, all your rubbish will be disposed of in the bins provided. The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to, remove or exclude any person whose behaviour gives rise to concerns regarding the health and safety of the public, security, staff or themselves.
  • Where someone is found to be in possession of an item that gives rise to health and safety concerns as above, they will be refused admission, removed and reported to the police.
  • No alcohol is permitted in the public viewing area. 

Disabled Access

  • Applications are now open and will close on Tuesday 2 April 2024. You can apply here. If your application has been successful we will be in touch.
  • We can accommodate wheelchair users. We will not be providing chairs, so if you do require a seat, please bring your own small folding chair. For those able to stand, you may be standing for a while.
  • The viewing areas are outside, with no shelter, so please consider this when making an application.
  • Successful applications will be selected at random.
  • If selected, you will be required to be at the green carpet viewing area at least an hour before it opens.
