Theatre Spot Test: Can you name these West End theatres?

First Published 29 September 2017, Last Updated 9 October 2017

The West End attracts global renown for its myriad of beautiful theatres – but under the pressure of a ticking clock, how many of the magnificent buildings can you actually name? After theatre fans stormed our longest-running West End productions and Olivier Award-winning musicals quizzes, this week’s Theatre Spot Test is taking a slightly different tact: quickfire questions. Yes, to ramp up the challenge that little bit more, this week you’ve only got 4 minutes – barely a showstopping rendition of Defying Gravity – to name as many of the West End theatres, chosen randomly from the 48 in London, as you can, based on the shows currently playing there. It’s harder than it sounds. Ready, set… good luck! You can get tickets for current West End shows here.

Up for another Theatre Spot Test? How many Olivier Award-winning musicals, or longest-running West End productions of all-time, can you name? Or try our Disney’s The Lion King quiz or our Annie quiz.
