First Published 15 April 2010, Last Updated 15 April 2010

The summer 2010 Access London Theatre brochure is now available. Covering audio-described, captioned and sign language interpreted performances over the coming months, the brochure is an invaluable source for any theatregoers who find difficult to see or hear what is happening onstage.

The brochure lists over 140 assisted performances taking place across London’s Theatreland between May and August. Shows included range from West End musicals to fringe theatre productions and cover genres including dance, opera, new writing and comedy. Each entry contains a brief description of the show, details of tickets prices and how to book, as well information about the different types of assisted performance and links to useful organisations.

In the middle of the brochure you will find the Society of London Theatre’s Access Venue Guide which contains detailed information for over 70 theatres including full theatre addresses, contact numbers and email addresses, locations of disabled toilets, information for wheelchair users and even the number of stairs from the foyer to each level of the theatre.

To order your brochure free of charge, please call the Society of London Theatre on 020 7557 6700 or email enquiries@solttma.co.uk. You can request the Access London Theatre summer 2010 brochure in large print, on tape, CD or in Braille.

The brochure can also be downloaded as a PDF from Official London Theatre’s Access page, with an audio-described section with no images or logos in rich-text format also available to download.
