It’s time for the grand finale of Strictly Ballroom The Musical. The Baz Luhrmann tuner will play its last performance on Saturday 27 October.
The producers of the musical said in a press release announcement this morning, “We are immensely proud of the production, led by our hugely talented cast and creative team, and have been thrilled by the standing ovations that audiences have responded with night after night. We would like to thank everyone involved for bringing this joyous new musical to the stage.”
Tickets for this hilarious musical are still available through 31 August on Kids Week.
Starring Matt Cardle, Jonny Labey and Zizi Strallen, the feel-good new musical Strictly Ballroom will have you dancing in the aisles, and is a joyful celebration of dance and romance. Strictly Ballroom tells the inspiring story of Scott Hastings, a championship ballroom dancer who defies all the rules of the competition to follow his heart. Along the way, he not only finds his true calling, but also his true love.
The show features all the hit songs from the film including Love Is In The Air, Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps and Time After Time. It also features exciting new songs from a host of internationally acclaimed artists.
