A checklist to playing Wally Strand in Strictly Ballroom The Musical: don some sequins. Put on a splendid Aussie accent. Sing your heart out. Oh, and be Matt Cardle, compère and narrator extraordinaire.

Starring the likes of Matt Cardle, Jonny Labey and Zizi Strallen, the feel-good new musical Strictly Ballroom will have you dancing in the aisles, and is a joyful celebration of dance and romance. Strictly Ballroom tells the inspiring story of Scott Hastings, a championship ballroom dancer who defies all the rules of the competition to follow his heart.

Along the way, he not only finds his true calling, but also his true love.

Strictly Ballroom The Musical is currently participating in Kids Week; throughout August, a child aged 16 or under can go free when accompanied by an adult paying full price. Adults can also purchase up to two extra children’s tickets at half price, and there are no booking fees to pay.
