8. Matilda star Marc Antonlin celebrates the 2013 Kids Week launch
Matilda The Musical’s star Marc Antolin (Rudolpho) gave us the lowdown on why he was supporting the launch of Kids Week along with why he loves working with children in the hit show. The month-long campaign allows children aged 16 or under to attend participating shows for free where tickets are available, as long as they’re accompanied by a full paying adult. 9. Matilda The Musical wins the Best New Musical and breaks the world record
In 2012, Matilda The Musical won the Best New Musical at the Olivier Awards with Mastercard. The show subsequently went on to appear in the 2013 Guinness World Records book for its record seven Laurence Olivier award wins – the most Oliviers won by a theatre production. This sure is one for the books!
