In pictures: First look at Elf

Published November 3, 2015

In just two days’ time fireworks will bring sparkle to the night sky, effigies of Britain’s most notorious gunpowder plotter will be set ablaze and Buddy The Elf will take to the stage in the official opening of Elf.

We know which one we’re most looking forward to. Don’t get us wrong, we’re big fans of pretty pyrotechnics and scorching infernos to celebrate the unsuccessful destruction attempt on our Houses of Parliament, it’s just… well… Buddy is our fave.

We loved him in the 2003 film starring Will Ferrell and, judging by the images just released of the West End cast in action at the Dominion Theatre, we may just love Ben Forster in the role of Santa’s not so little helper even more.

That’s right, with Elf’s official opening night set to take place on Thursday, we’ve got a first look at Forster, Kimberley Walsh, Joe McGann and co as they take to the stage in the much talked about musical adaptation of Buddy’s trip to New York City.

You could find yourself joining the loveable Maple syrup spaghetti maker* in the Big Apple by entering our incredible prize draw. Buy tickets to Elf – or any of the shows on sale through us or at our TKTS ticket booth in Leicester Square – before 26 November for your chance to win an incredible transatlantic trip complete with return Virgin Atlantic flights, a luxury hotel stay and Broadway show tickets.

*Buddy not included.
