The show sold out at the Victoria venue prior to its opening gala performance, and is the first show in the theatre’s history to move from a studio workshop to a main house production. Heathers – The Musical now becomes The Other Palace’s first West End transfer, having reached a brand new audience, 70% of which are under the age of 30. The production will continue to develop and celebrate its younger and more diverse audience by offering over 15,000 seats at £25 across the West End run.
Based on one of the greatest teen films of all time, the 1988 cult classic with Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, Heathers – The Musical welcomes you to Westerberg High, where popularity is a matter of life and death. In comes Veronica Sawyer (Fletcher), who’s a nobody dreaming of being a somebody – and when she’s taken under the wings of three beautiful and cruel Heathers, her dreams might just come true…
The musical is directed by acclaimed screen and stage director Andy Fickman, with choreography by Gary Lloyd, design by David Shields, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Dan Samson and casting by Will Burton. The Other Palace run concludes 4 August.
Tickets are available through the show’s website.
