This year’s Olivier Awards with MasterCard saw hundreds of theatre fans queue up to catch a glimpse of their favourite star, take a selfie with the A-list and grab an autograph from some of theatre’s most illustrious names on the award’s red carpet.
With the sun out, it was an incredible sight to watch Judi Dench and Kevin Spacey stroll towards the Royal Opera House arm in arm, and James McAvoy and Anne-Marie Duff pose for the press photographers alongside one another.
Cats star and Olivier Award nominee Nicole Scherzinger proved a favourite with the photographers in a stunning gown, while stage and screen favourites including Angela Lansbury, Gemma Arterton and Chiwetel Ejiofor drew screams of excitement from the crowds.
