About the Show Less...

Ruby Wax stars in Roald Dahl's tale of dastardly dames. Read More >

RubyThe Witches follows the adventures of a seven-year-old boy and his mystically-endowed gran who battle with real-life witches, led by the gloriously vile Grand High Witch. Plotting to get rid of all the children in England, she has a hideous plan to take over all the sweet shops, poison the children with chocolate and transform them into mice. All of which seems more than a little unfair.

Ruby Wax stars as the luxuriantly repulsive Grand High Witch in David Wood’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s award-winning tale. The illusions and special effects for the show have been created by Paul Kieve – the man behind much of Harry Potter’s cinematic wizardry.

This production is suitable for everyone over seven years of age.
