Olivier Award winners Imelda Staunton and Conleth Hill co-star in this exciting West End revival of revered playwright Edward Albee’s marriage drama Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf? for a limited season only.

Set on the campus of an American college in the early hours of the morning, Albee’s drama sees Martha invite new professor Nick and his wife Honey for after-party drinks with her husband George back at their home, much to the latter’s displeasure.

This provides the backdrop to explosive scrutiny of the two’s marriage, as the couple’s initial charm towards their visitors makes way to flowing alcohol and toxic games. As dawn approaches, events culminate in a moment of devastating truth-telling.

Four-time Olivier Award winner Staunton, whose recent critically acclaimed performances include playing Mama Rose in the widely lauded revival of Gypsy, and Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd, stars alongside fellow Olivier-winner Hill, who is perhaps best known for his role as Lord Varys in HBO series Game Of Thrones.

Playing for 13 weeks only at the Harold Pinter Theatre, this is an exciting new production of a celebrated, Tony Award-winning text, and is certainly not to be missed.
