Comic Omid Djalili returns to London in Joe Orton’s insanely funny farcical tale, What The Butler Saw.

Hysterical one-liners and outrageous twists collide in What The Butler Saw, which follows the events set in motion when psychoanalyst Dr Prentice instructs his new secretary to undress. Little does he expect to be interrupted by his wife, her blackmailing lover, a meddling government inspector and an inquisitive policeman. But hiding a naked woman is the least of his worries, as libidos run riot, identities are swapped and social decorum is buried.

Djalili last entertained West End audiences when he played Fagin in the recent production of Oliver! at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

Sean Foley, who directs What The Butler Saw, is co-founder of theatre company The Right Size, which created the hugely successful comedy The Play What I Wrote. More recently he directed the hit stage adaptation of Ealing comedy The Ladykillers.

There will be some semi-nudity during What The Butler Saw, which is recommended for theatregoers aged 12 and older.
