About the Show Less...

A fresh and frank interpretation of Büchner's Woyzeck and Attila József's poetry by Hungary's Krétakör Theatre. Read More >

W – Worker’s Circus is a physical, darkly poetic theatre of cruelty piece, which is staged against a stark set enclosed by bars. Inside the caged stage, the actors bare themselves both emotionally and physically in this interpretation of Woyzeck and the poems of Attila József.

In recent years, Krétakör have become one of the best known representatives of Hungarian theatre in Europe.
