Trafalgar Studios 2 hosts the European debut of Vanities: The Musical, a classic American story of fashion and style, starring Lauren Samuels.

Samuels (Bend It Like Beckham, BBC’s Over The Rainbow, Grease) is joined in the show by Ashleigh Gray (Wicked) and Lizzy Connolly (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) to form girl group harmonies of the 60s and 70s in this tale of the pitfalls of superficiality.

Three best friends grow up in Dallas, obsessing over cheerleader routines, choosing sororities, planning their wedding days – and learning that image and style are more important than brains and ambition. But this warped view of the world may yet shape them for better and worse…

A hilarious and heartfelt story with all-new direction and choreography from Racky Plews, Vanities’ long-awaited arrival in London should be one to remember.
