Umthombi follows a boy’s coming of age as he follows the footsteps of his mentor, learning responsibility and survival as he works on the land. The piece was created by Musa Hlatshwayo when he received the KZN Young Choreographer Commission in 2004.

Impro_Vise_2 explores the powerful yet ambiguous relationship between a man and a woman. Andréya Ouamba’s piece was inspired by the experiences of street children in Dakar.
