Cheek by Jowl presents Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod’s celebrated all-male production of one of Shakespeare’s most glorious comedies, featuring some of his best known characters – Viola, Malvolio, Toby Belch and Sir Andrew Aguecheek. In association with the prestigious Chekhov International Theatre Festival, Twelfth Night is performed by an outstanding company of some of Russia’s most notable actors.

2006 marks the first of three annual seasons of Cheek by Jowl at the Barbican. The company are presenting a mix of new productions and a piece from Russia where the company’s Artistic Directors regularly work.
