Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale is brought to life in a new adaptation for children aged 10 and older.

Adapted by Bryony Lavery, whose previous plays include The Believers and Frozen, Treasure Island charts Jim Hawkins’ search for treasure on a Caribbean island and his swashbuckling encounters with Long John Silver and his entourage of pirates.

Doctor Who and Broadchurch star Arthur Darvill leads the cast as Long John Silver following recent stage roles in Olivier Award-winning musical Once and Our Boys at the Duchess Theatre.

The production is directed by Polly Findlay, whose credits at the National Theatre include Protest Song and Antigone.
