Tragic love story telling the tale of Alfredo and his passionate affair with the beautiful courtesan Violetta. Read More >

La Traviata
Amid the glittering social whirl of parisian life, the courtesan Violetta notices a handsome young man at a party and, rather against her better judgement, she falls in love. Were this not an opera, things might all end happily there and then, it is an opera, however, and things rapidly become painfully complicated.

Featuring some of Verdi’s most passionate music, La Traviata remains one of the most popular of all operas.

Sung in Italian with English surtitles.
