Written by comedian and actor Mark Doherty, this surreal fable is told through the characters of the hundred-year-old Thomas and his even more ancient ‘Da’. When Thomas reveals that he once fathered a son in a long-ago fling, the pair set off at a hobble across the Irish countryside to seek the unknown child in a bid to make contact with ‘the genes’ who will carry the family line forward into the future. On their journey of discovery, the encounter Sal, an aged crone and the sinister Father Rice, who finally helps them discover the truth.
