Shakespeare’s Globe revisits Lucy Bailey’s 2006 production of Shakespeare’s grotesquely violent and daringly experimental play.

Titus Andronicus tells the story of the title character who, following a victory against the Goths, returns to Rome with queen Tamora and her three sons as prisoners of war. His decision to sacrifice the eldest son combined with his refusal of the title of emperor begins a cycle of mutilation, rape and murder.
