First Performance 30/09/2009
Closing 08/11/2009

Timing is the first play by impressionist and actor Alistair McGowan which explores love, work,  fatherhood and all the difficult decisions men and women have to make together.

When Julian Mann goes to work one morning, the last person he expects to find alongside him in the tiny room is his ex. And she’s not just any ex. She’s the woman who captured his heart, the woman who shared his life for five years, the woman who walked out on him and who hasn’t spoken to him since.

Timing is a play for anyone who has ever tried to juggle a relationship and a career, for anyone who has ever heard the biological clock ticking, for anyone who has wanted to turn the clock back…

McGowan is probably best known for his television series Big Impression, though lately he has been making his name on the stage in productions including Merry Wives The Musical for the RSC, Little Shop Of Horrors in the West End and They’re Playing Our Song at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

The cast of Timing is led by Edward Baker-Duly, whose London stage credits include Gone With The Wind at the New London and Rookery Nook at the Menier Chocolate Factory.
