William Shakespeare’s magnificent tale of revenge, repentance and redemption, The Winter’s Tale is splendidly reimagined by the English National Opera, with direction from Olivier Award winner Rory Kinnear.

Telling the turbulent story of King Leontes who, in a haze of furious jealousy, caused the death of his loyal wife Hermione and their young son, The Winter’s Tale is compellingly reinvigorated by Kinnear and the ENO composer-in-residence Ryan Wigglesworth, following Leontes in his desperate attempts to seek redemption.

An epic story of love, loss and reconciliation, the stellar cast includes three international singers with extensive experience at the ENO, Iain Paterson, Sophie Bevan and Leigh Melrose, as well as favourites Anthony Gregory and Susan Bickley.
