About the Show Less...

A new production of Shakespeare's magical play which aims to be the perfect introduction to the play for children aged 9+ Read More >

An enchanted island, a magician’s daughter, a shipwrecked prince.

Shakespeare’s much-loved tale of romance, comedy and magic storms onto the Unicorn stage.

Miranda has grown up with only her father Prospero and the strange islander Caliban for company. But her sheltered world is changed forever as a mighty storm brings ashore her father’s greatest enemy, a handsome stranger and two drunken rascals with plans of their own.

This is a powerful, physical production performed by the Unicorn’s acting ensemble, which brings classic characters to life. Music and sound combine with Shakespeare’s words to create a world of enchantment and adventure.

The Tempest aims to be the ideal first experience of Shakespeare for children aged 9+
