Tchaikovsky’s music combines magically with MacMillan’s choreography for this enchanting ENB favourite.

At the christening of Princess Aurora, most fairies give presents such as beauty, wit and generosity. The wicked Carabosse, though, places a curse on the young royal; on her 16th birthday she will prick her finger and die. The Lilac Fairy manages to switch death for a sleep of one hundred years. Only love’s true kiss can break the magical spell.

English National Ballet’s company of 67 performers the fairytale ballet accompanied by a full orchestra.
