To celebrate the 25th birthday of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic musical The Phantom Of The Opera, producer Cameron Mackintosh present this fully staged production at the Royal Albert Hall.
Since premiering at Her Majesty’s theatre in 1986 The Phantom Of The Opera has become one of the longest running musicals of all time, with its gothic tale of life beneath the Paris Opera House capturing the hearts of theatregoers in 27 countries. It has won over 50 major theatre awards including three Tonys on Broadway and three Olivier Awards.
To celebrate its birthday, this new staging at the Royal Albert Hall will feature a cast and orchestra of over 200, headed by Ramin Karimloo as the Phantom and Sierra Boggess as Christine. The duo last appeared together in Lloyd Webber’s recent follow-up musical, Love Never Dies. Karimloo has previously played the Phantom in the original West End production.
