The Open Couple is a hilarious fast-paced insight into one couple’s stormy relationship.

Antonia has coped with her philandering husband often to the point of attempted suicide. He suggests they should have an open marriage and she agrees. Will he cope when it appears that Antonia has been more successful than he ever imagined?

Sussex based StraightUp Theatre comes to Camden Fringe for the first time with this absurd comedy. Originally written by Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo and his wife Franca Rame, this witty tale tests the old adage that it’s a man’s world.

The audience are navigated through the twists and turns of marital strife, making this a somewhat voyeuristic experience. Be prepared for some interesting discussions with your partner or friends after the performance!
