Sadler’s Wells collaborates with pop legends The Pet Shop Boys, renowned choreographer Javier De Frutos and playwright/director Matthew Dunster on The Most Incredible Thing, a modern fairytale based on the Hans Christian Andersen story.

The Most Incredible Thing centres on a contest to produce ‘the most incredible thing’, with a prize of half the kingdom and marriage to the princess at stake.

The show stars Royal Ballet dancer Ivan Putrov, a 26-piece orchestra and a cast of 16. This is the first foray into composing for dance by The Pet Shop Boys, the multi-award-winning electronica duo who came to fame in the 1980s.

The exciting creative team behind The Most Incredible Thing also includes Tony Award-winning designer Katrina Lindsay and BAFTA-Winning film animator Tal Rosner.
