Alex Horne’s hit jazz performance party The Horne Section unites comedy and jazz. From the Edinburgh Fringe, via Soho Theatre and the Union Chapel, The Horne Section now arrives for its West End debut at the Lyric theatre.

Alex Horne has gathered some of the UK’s finest jazz musicians and mixed them with the most exciting comics in the country to create some unique and hilarious noises. It’s jazz-infused comedy, live and loud, part improvised, part honed, part performance, part party.

The Horne Section is a fun show where Alex and his magnificent band (session players with Madness, Girls Aloud and many more) welcome various comedians on stage to improvise a short piece, sing a song or do whatever they please.

Every performance is different so brass bands, jugglers or dancers could also join the fun.

Confirmed line-ups so far include:

14 Feb: Tim Key, Doc Brown, Kalki The Hula Girl, Greg Davies

28 Feb: The Magnets, David O’Doherty, Rod Laver The Oral Ping Pong Ball Juggler, Kevin Eldon

14 Mar: Paul Foot, Stomp, Jeremy Lion, New Art Club

28 Mar: Tim Key, Shlomo, Jonny Sweet, Andrew Van Buren The Potteries Plate Spinner, Harry Hill
