Director Christopher Luscombe takes on Alan Bennett’s The History Boys, the hit play which won rave reviews and many awards when it premiered at the National Theatre in 2004.

The History Boys is set in a school in the North of England where a boisterous bunch of bright, funny sixth-form boys are attempting to gain entrance to Oxford and Cambridge while fending off the distracions of sport and sex.

Playwright Bennett is known for his wryly-observed, witty plays including Single Spies, Talking Heads and The Madness of George III.
