As part of LIFT 2016, a London-wide festival of international performance, The Unicorn Theatre hosts a new production by HETPALEIS – one of Belgium’s leading theatres for young people.

13 girls aged 13 – and a bodybuilder. Through dance and movement they borrow, copy and shamelessly fuse past and present. Then pull the rug right out from under your feet.

Nothing is what it seems. Their transition into adulthood reflects an ever-changing society.

The Hamilton Complex explores how our identity is determined andasks questions about growing up, conforming and maintaining your individuality. A physical, visual and philosophical look at the profound moments in life when everything changes.

Recommended for ages 13+.
