Littered with hits from the 60s and brand new songs, The Fifth Beatle follows the life of a Fab Four fan whose passion turns to obsession.

Carried away with the excitement of Beatlemania, promising student Anna drops out of medical school to follow her heroes on their first tour of America. Gradually becoming convinced that John Lennon has been calling out to her through his music, she comes to believe that she is destined to be the fifth Beatle.

Working at Apple records, mixing with George Best and others, everything feels right until the Fab Four start to pursue solo careers and her dreams begin to falter…
