The Day The Waters Came returns to the Unicorn following a successful run in October 2010.

Lisa Evans’s story follows Maya Marsalis who, in sumemr 2005, leads the audience through her landscape on the day Hurricane Katrina came, the levees broke, the world watched and the US government did nothing. Maya shows us how her world and that of thousands of black American citizens changed forever on the day the waters came.
