About the Show Less...

A terrifically spooky new show for brave souls aged 7+ from the team behind 2014's hit The Pardoner's Tale. Read More >

If you’re sure that ghosts aren’t real,
If your nerves are made of steel,
If you’re brave and if you dare,
Come sit upon the Barber’s Chair…

This Easter holidays, the Unicorn Theatre will be welcoming back the team behind last year’s hugely successful The Pardoner’s Tale with a terrifically spooky new show for brave souls aged 7+, The Chair.

Welcome to Tiger Bay, the most deadly and dangerous docks on these Victorian shores. A place that’s packed with strange sailors trading stories picked up across the far seas. And what better place to hear these tales than from Owain Sawyers; barber and purveyor of things.

He’ll tell you of adventures with mystical creatures, of fortunes lost and found, of unrequited love, myths, rumours and rum. He’ll give you a shave or just a trim; he can even fix your grin…

With music, songs and lively storytelling, this brand new show is the perfect alternative to fluffy bunnies and spring chicks this Easter!
