You can insure your car, your luggage, your pets against loss, so why not your dignity? Suddenlossofdignity.com lets you do just that. If you’ve recently walked around with your skirt tucked into your pants, embarassed yourself at a friend’s wedding or drunkenly texted someone you shouldn’t have, make your claim on the Bush theatre’s specially created website suddenlossofdignity.com and the theatre will send you back others’ tales of humiliation and ignominy to cheer you up – it’s recycling for the cold, lonely and desperate of the 21st century.

The Bush has commissioned five of London’s talented new writers to take these stories and create a new summer production inspired by all of our daily embarassments and small humiliations. It promises to be the ideal collective therapy – hilarious, revealing and oddly touching.

Suddenlossofdignity.com plays at the Bush theatre before a spell at the Latitude Festival.
