Stravinsky Violin Concerto, with choreography by Balanchine, progresses from a startlingly still opening into an arresting exchange of music and dance.

Voluntaries matches Poulenc’s Concerto for Organ, Strings and Percussion with the choreography of Glen Tetley to build beautiful and sinuous imagery.

Kylián’s lightness, spaciousness and energy combine with Janácek’s score for the evening’s finale, Sinfonietta.
