The third part of the Royal Opera’s complete staging of Wagner’s Ring Cycle; the first complete staging at Covent Garden since the Royal Opera House re-opened.

Siegfried struggles against the deceptions of Mime to discover who he truly is. Facing and killing the dragon Fafner he claims both the magic ring and tarnhelm, before facing a disguised Wotan and awakening Brunnhilde from her enforced sleep, discovering in himself both fear and love.

Sung in German with English surtitles.

This production is sold out, though 23 day seats will be made available on a one ticket per person basis.
