Showstopper! is entirely improvised: a brand new musical is created at every performance. Stuck for ideas, a writer takes audience suggestions for a title, storyline and musical style. The troupe of actors – the Showstoppers – then create a musical from scratch based around that structure.

Unpredictable and often extremely funny, Showstopper! is a musical with a difference – every night.

Showstopper! has been a hit on the Edinburgh Fringe Festival every since its first appearance in 2008. It has also played dates on the London fringe, including the King’s Head theatre. It now makes its West End debut at the Ambassadors theatre.
