Pilobolus Dance Theatre presents a groundbreaking show combining shadow theatre, dance, circus and concert.

The first show of its kind to blend shadow theatre with dance, Shadowland incorporates different sized moving screens to create a performance that fuses projections with front-of-screen choreography.

Conceived in collaboration with SpongeBob SquarePants writer Steven Banks, the show tells the story of a young girl’s coming of age in a sensational world, which is presented in a way that is both intensely dramatic and comedic.

Featuring a score by American musician and composer David Poe that encompasses both ballads and upbeat rock numbers, Shadowland has been seen by almost half a million people in countries worldwide.
