Tom Stoppard is one of Britain’s greatest playwrights. His brilliant debut, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, launched an award-winning writing career that has included the plays Jumpers, Travesties and Arcadia, as well as screenplays including Empire of the Sun and Shakespeare in Love.
