Edward IV is King. Having seized the throne from Henry VI in bloody civil war he now looks to the future, unaware that his youngest brother, Richard Duke of Gloucester, ruthlessly pursues the crown for himself.

Shakespeare’s most notorious monarch, who first emerged menacingly in Henry VI, now manipulates, seduces and butchers his way to the throne as Shakespeare’s History Cycle reaches its brutal climax on Bosworth field.
