Raven Boy at Jackson’s Lane theatre is a remarkable story of young Bran, orphaned ten years before the Blitz and raised in secrecy by ravens in the Tower of London.

The ravens believe he is the King of the Birds but when this comes under threat, a struggle between darkness and light ensues in the Raven world. Will Bran step from the shadows and discover where his destiny truly lies?

Using colourful storytelling, playful visual projections and mystical songs, Raven Boy is an entrancing piece of theatre that will capture the imagination of adults and children alike.

Raven Boy is directed by Infectious Theatre’s Artistic Director Jennifer Pearcy-Edwards. Infectious Theatre created their first work in 2009 as part of Jacksons Lane’s Secret Theatre. They explore storytelling as a theatrical device and produce vital, relevant theatre with a strong physical presence. The company seeks to offer the audience an alternative perspective that stimulates the imagination.
