Emilia Fox leads the cast in Gina Gionfriddo’s witty and virtuosic comedy about two women who have followed different paths in life.

Directed by Peter Du Bois, Rapture, Blister, Burn tells the story of Catherine and Gwen, the first a rock-star academic, the second a housewife with children. Unfulfilled in opposite ways, each woman covets the other’s life, resulting in the beginning of a dangerous game as each of them tries to claim the other’s territory.

Making her Hampstead Theatre debut in the production, Fox’s theatre credits include Coriolanus and Richard III at the Almeida, and Good at the Donmar Warehouse. On screen she is best-known for her long-running role in Silent Witness and Oscar nominated movie The Pianist.

Fox is joined in the cast by Emma Fielding, who has previously appeared on the London stage in In The Republic Of Happiness at the Royal Court and The King’s Speech at the Wyndham’s Theatre.
