David Lindsay-Abaire’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Rabbit Hole blends bereavement with comedy as a happy suburban couple suffer the aftermath of a shocking event at the Hampstead Theatre.

Led by Artistic Director Edward Hall, Becca and Howie Corbett find their lives turned upside down by an untimely loss and, attempting to find their way through grief, conversely begin to drift apart.

With domestic life turbulent and cracks appearing, Lindsay-Abaire delves into Becca and Howie’s efforts to regain control through love and hope. Whilst their erratic family tries to bridge the gaps appearing, life-changing events are set into motion.

Hampstead Theatre opens its 2016 programme with the UK premiere of this beloved script, which scooped the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and received four Tony Award nominations (including Best Play) in its initial New York run.
