At the heart of the story are the unforgettable characters of Elizabeth and Darcy. She is pretty, intelligent and independent while every inch of him portrays the handsome proud aristocrat. Naturally she finds him insufferably conceited and he believes her too out-spoken and beneath him – what can shatter his pride and her prejudice?

For this production, acclaimed actess Rula Lenska takes the role of Mrs Bennet, one of the greatest comic characters in English literature. Determined to see her five daughters well married, Mrs Bennet will take no prisoners in her campaign to provide for the girls’ futures… and what better prospects could there possibly be than Bingley and his friend Darcy?
