Following 2012’s The Witness, Vivienne Franzmann returns to the Royal Court with Pests, a new play about two sisters trapped by their pasts.
Pink loves Rolly. Rolly loves Pink. And Pink loves getting bombed off her face. Sisters from the same nest, Rolly and Pink are trapped in a tiny rotting world where their pasts refuse to release them. One wants out. The other needs her in. The trouble is that when you complete each other, you’re nothing on your own.
The production is directed by Clean Break’s Lucy Morrison, whose credits include Billy The Girl at the Soho Theatre and Little On The Inside as part of the 2013 Almeida Festival.
