Pedro, The Great PretenderThe lovable rogue, Pedro de Urdemales, just wants to be liked and tries to make himself helpful to achieve this aim. His journey of self-discovery brings him in contact with everyone from peasants to royalty, gypsies to courtiers, and religious zealots to actors as he tries to find his place in life.

Playwright Cervantes is best known for his novel Don Quixote de la Mancha.
