The stage is a kitchen. The concert is cooking. Award-winning Belgian company Laika cooks up a culinary circus – an original theatrical feast. Patatboem celebrates and combines the worlds of music and food with humour, skill and passion. Anything is possible in this kitchen! Cooks in full swing bear a striking resemblance to an ensemble in concert – the tension, the focused energy, the choreography of hands moving in perfect synchronicity. Laika whip up a melodious menu to satisfy ears, eyes and appetites. Much more than a choreographed concert these Cordon Bleu musicians and virtuosic chefs sing, slice, chop and chant through a pile of raw ingredients and jazz riffs to compose a meal before your very eyes. Tasting is the final act!

Unlike film, theatre doesn't have an official age classification organisation. That means all age recommendations are subjective and should be treated as guidelines unless otherwise stated. With this in mind, we ask you to use your judgement in regards to a show’s suitability prior to purchase. However, we are more than happy to help you make a decision. Please email our Customer Care team to find out more about your chosen show.
