Painting A Wall follows the day in the day of four Cape Coloured South African painters, living under apartheid in Cape Town 1970. We follow them in their task of painting public walls government-regulation white. They have one hour to do it and they have got to hurry up and finish the job or rish no pay and harsh punishment. They only thing is, they seem to have been given the wrong paint colour.
