Pushkin’s novel of unrequited love is transformed by John Cranko into a three-act ballet set to the music of Tchaikovsky.

Eugene Onegin is unimpressed with the naive Tatiana when they first meet, dismissing both her and her love letter. Years down the line, the tables are turned as Tatiana, now wife of Prince Gremin, is the one in control.
